The Designer & the Decorator brand looked to capture two unique personas; The crisp and exact persona of the Designer with the unruly roughness of the Decorator.
This everlasting shuffle between the two personas created the core backbone of the identity - each collaborating and fighting for dominance.
The art direction for the brand also looks to honor this design story - with works being a marriage of the stringent and the pliant.
This story is also told through typography, and the use of Messina Sans + Serif in tandem.


Brand identity, 2018

In 2018, I was approached to aid The Designer & The Decorator to establish themselves as a boutique interior design firm with a global reach; operating between Sydney and London. The identity looks to subtly capture the two opposing personas; the firmly minimalist designer, and the loose, creative decorator.
