Looking to the works of Wedgwood and Royal Doulton, Sherlock & Sons looks to capture the "quintessentially English".
The label, based on relief plasterwork and displaying the different ingredients of the gin, is embossed into Colorplan.
Over 4 recipes exist in the Sherlock & Sons collection, each using its own signature colour.

Sherlock & Sons

Packaging Design, Winner of the World Gin Awards in Design

Launched by seasoned Head Distiller Simon Sherlock, Sherlock & Sons is the first range from newly established distillery, Distillers of Surrey. Challenged to capture Simon’s uncompromising attention on quality and ethics, I worked with Distillers of Surrey to produce a design that was quintessentially English; its visual language driven by an assortment of tapestry-like botanicals and ornate typographic detailing that look to celebrate the finest British ingredients.

Inspiration for the bottle was primarily inspired by the relief plasterwork of the English Georgian period, as well as the designs of Wedgwood which heavily influenced colour choice and approach. Three unique gins now in the range; Solstice, Nautical and Aromatic.
